I am concerned about my brother
He has been on Haldol injectable for a number of years….. since he arrived in the nursing home In January they have been giving him a carousel of added drugs
First Attivam then Klonopin added to the Haldol They took that away
and now he is on Haldol injectable 50 mg monthly congentin 5 mg daily and ziprexa 5 mg daily
His functioning has decreased to the point that he is bed bound cannot walk can hardly talk and also feels horrible as if dying….eating little
He was doing fine with just the haldol injectable for many years
He has had bad reactions before to changes of medication and added medications
As his guardian can I request that they remove all the added medications that seem to be causing havoc in his functioning
