The Other Day, On My Way Home After Work, A

the other day, on my way home after work, a rock hit my windshield and scared me so bad that my pulse went to 180 and my blood pressure was 99/64. these numbers lasted for over 6 hours. I was weak, out of breath. and had a tight chest but did not feel like a heart attack. I took 2 aspirins, and a furosemide tablet (Dr says I have a murmur) and went to bed. I woke up every 2 hours and checked numbers again but they did not go back down for over 6 hours. I have type 2 diabetes (for three years now), and usually my blood pressure is 124/78 pulse 88-91. should I expect this reaction every time I get scared from now on? I just turned 60. not the get scared type.
