three year old male born with polydactyly[one extra thumb],undescended testicles,laryngomalacia.since age one year he appears to be neuroatypical but doc says not asd also chromosomally typical male.behaviorally atypical .spends long periods of time in front of reflective surfaces mirror oven door shiny pots... .language delays. speaks gibberish some vocabulary [20 words not very intelligible]. no colors or conceptual speech( now, later, behind, under...).no mri yet.saw ped neuro. advised "lots of therapy" . kid and parents very frustrated . no diagnosis and no clear plan for care. now enrolled in special preschool .so so progress. please advise.(developmental ped consult... ?)
