Today I Had An Xray Which Showed The Following; A

today I had an xray which showed the following; a large bony bar extending from thelesser trochanter to the inferior acetabular margin,which is restricting movement.
the hip was replaced 4 years ago & has always restricted movement.the prosthesis are satisfactory aligned.
I am very fit 64 yr old male.my question is ,can this be corrected by surgery,where do I go from here please?
