Today I Had Visit The Gynecologist. I Had The Ultrasound

today I had visit the gynecologist. I had the ultrasound prior the visit. The result says that ''patient is post menopausal. I am 54 years old and had all periods still with me, only before my doctor's visit I had already a 1,5 moth since the last period. Today doctor said that I am post menopausal because the menopause is between 48 and 52, I am behind of this so this is not normal...because I have a multiple uterine fibroids and largest measuring 4.1 cm. Also there a complex left ovarian cyst is noted measuring 4.9 cm which is too big and have to be removed along with uterine. I am all scared. It could be error in a the measure.but if not. Doctor seems don't like much to explain, but she insist I got to get a surgical remove of uterine and ovaries. I am scared. Can I get your advice even it scary too?!.. I need the honest and honest answer, only this.
