Today Week I Suffered A Traffic Accident Where I Had

today week i suffered a traffic accident where I had a compound fracture in both my left tibia and fibula, They operated me at the hospital and after 3 days I was discharged. The problem I'm facing is the excruciating blood rush every time I try to put my leg down. Please explain why does it happen and for how long i should expect this to happen.
