Two Weeks Ago On A Thursday I Got Screened For

two weeks ago on a Thursday I got screened for stds. That next Tuesday they called me back and told me my test results were negative. they called again the next Monday and said my culture was postive. My partner got tested and his first results came back negative as well. is this possible?
