Was Bit By A Softball Inside Of My Leg Right

was bit by a softball inside of my leg right above the ankle. Have been putting ice on and off throughout the day. There is some swelling and a bit of bruising. My only concern is that the area in which the ball hit is numb and the surrounding area is what hurts. Should I be worried or is it normal.
