Well I Cant Remember If I Start My Period Soon,

well I cant remember if I start my period soon, I know my last one was a couple weeks ago. I'm worried because lately I've been drenched in discharge then this morning it was a dark brown and similar to blood but not. I'm really freaked out please tell me what's going on.
