What Causes Throbbing Sound In Ears Along With Sinus Pain?

Hi, I went to the dr on February 7th, he said I had a ear infection in the right and left was irritated also a sinus infection. He prescribed a antihistamine, a antibiotic and nasal spray. On the 9th I called back because I had no relief, he the prescribed prednisone. I still had no relief and had what felt like a panic attack from the antihistamine so I stopped taking it and they agreed. He stopped the first antibiotic and then on the 12th called in another. Nurse said try also muslin ex . I still don t feel much better and I have a throbbing sound in my ears, more the left than right. I feel awful and the muslin ex does mask the sinus pain. Help
