What Is The Cause And Treatment For Protein Deficiency?

I am having 4 of the symptoms of protein deficiency. I read where in happens in the wintertime. I have had the gastric sleeve and need alot of protein. I also read eat 4 ozs. of red meat for 2 weeks would help. I am fixing to have a surgery and don t want to be going into it if this is so for healing.
