,y name I s s dennis I had bipas quadruple surgery 20years ago ihad no heart damage but was 80,70,70,70 %blockage.my blood pressure was running alittle high 150/80 with my medicine Lisinopril 40mg and amlodipine10mg myblood pressure is about 140/78 on ave. my cardiologist wants me to continue on abeta blocker Toprol in which I had a lot of bad reactions to so istopped taking it do I really need this drug seeing my blood pressure is down and I am feeling fine. total cholesteral is155 ldl is63 hdl is76 tri 81. should I continue with the Toprol since it made me feel like I was druged up and not myself.
