I am looking for information for my mom, she had total knee replacement and recently went back to the Dr for an xray. She has bone spurs on both sides of the knee and one is over an inch long. She is have pain from them and cant go up and down steps. The Dr told her that he would have to totally open the knee back up in order to remove the bone spurs.... would not be able to do it arthroscopic. She doesn't know what to do. She had a horrible time with the surgery when she had it and the knee has always swollen up since then
