yes for several to the er why i dont remember going but med records show that i complained of right flank pain and was released back to a behavorial center because i was seeking drugs in their words both visits were for the same right flank pain i again returned and was directly admitted with a high fever and pyelonephritis but discharged i was admitted againsystemic inflammatory response syndrome, pyelonephritis then leukocytosis, tachycardia, and full respiratory failure while in their care bandemia, hypoxia all of which i have memory but am peicing together medical records, but my question is why didnt the hospital staff do the proper testing the first time? I had a left kidney removed some years ago i have had kidney infections in my remaining in the past, it seems to me they didnt believe me in the symptons i had reported which i cant remember, the only answers i got from anyone why i ambulanced to the er was that i was really confused and really high temp. Once was 102 and another 104, there was also stated in the medicalrecords after intubation chocolate colored secretions coming from my lungs and one time they were having problems bagging me with a decrease in my pulse ox. they removed some dark material which was occluding the endotracheal tube. I never once spoke to a dr. when this terrible experience was over most of my knowledge came from the only person who cared about me was my landlord who stated many times they the hospital staff wanted to pull me off the ventilator and he urged them not to do so. I feel this facility overlooked my symptons and didnt follow any protocol simply because they believed i was seeking drugs. Is this medical neglect in your opinion? i would appreciate your response thank you
