Yes I Am Experiencing Chronic Dry Cough And I Am

yes i am experiencing chronic dry cough and i am extremely lethargic. i cannot sleep without being woken up with a dry cough and i am gasping for air! My lungs seemed to be filled with mucous. I am a smoker for many years and do have copd. Last night I used my inhaler and put vicks on my chest and had to sleep with my head slightly elevated! I also have the ceiling fan going for air. sometimes the cough is productive other times it is just dry and irritating.
