yes, my daughter just had spinal fusion (anterior approach) on 12/20/16 for an infected disc L5, S1 that was done emergently a year ago.... The back pain is gone, however, she has been experiencing terrible bilateral calf pain & the ortho surgeon does not know what the cause is..could this be related to her fusion?
