yes, my friend was originally diagnosed with hypothyroidism, was placed on proper medication, went into a thyroid storm, and re-diagnosed with hyperthyroidism yet still retains the symptoms of an underactive thyroid, her Dr.'s say that it's very rare. She cannot stay awake. She sleeps approximately 20 hours per day, does not do recreational drugs, does not drink alcohol. Any ideas?
