Yes My Younger Brother Was Just Hosipitalized For Bacterial Pneumonia

yes my younger brother was just hosipitalized for bacterial pneumonia an they say that its in his blood stream. he had an upper gi done and they said that they might have to do open heart surgery on him because his heart is also filled with the bacteria. they say that it look like its trying to spread to his brain. it has already started affecting his motor functions. my question to is can he live through this or is their a strong possibilty that he will die? he is still in the hospital with ivs and they are also stating that the meds are not working that they are given to him at this time
