yes....my father had a heart attack in 2014 and he was not eating while in Rehab and they give him some liquid meds to make him eat...and it worked great...I thought the name of the med was "magneise" or something like that...my mother is sick with chronic back pain and is losing alot of weight, so I was going to call her doc tomorrow to see if they could prescribe this....
