Yesterday I Got A Large Pimple On My Face And

yesterday i got a large pimple on my face and i put toothpaste on it and i ended up with a sab and im scared i might have burned my skin.. so i read online to keep the area moist so i did but now the scab is soft and when i clean it seems to come off and it has a little bit of yellow skin around it. what do i do? i dont want a scar on my cheek
