Yesterday Morning As I Was Just Wakeing Up I Suddenly

yesterday morning as I was just wakeing up I suddenly felt as if I was on a high speed turn table. I could not stop the spinning. I opened my eyes and the room appeared to be spinning. I became sick to my stomach but did not throw up.all day i had slight nausea im only on 100mg of blood bressure medicine. I do not drink.what could have caused this?
