Hi, I was diagnosed subclinical hypothyroidism and I am trying to conceive. My TSH was 4.76 but my T3, T4 and antibody serum reports were normal. Doctor prescribed me Thyronorm 25mcg for three months since I want to get pregnant, if not he recommended not to start medicine since it is mildly elevated. I started medicines took 4 months. My Reports are normal. TSH is 1.97. Should I continue or stop taking it? please suggest.

Thank you. Your answers were EXCELLENT and worth it for me. The three day limit by healthcaremagic on questions is unreasonable because lab tests came back later. This process is better than waiting 4 months for an appointment with an endocrinologist here! I feel confident that serious issues were addressed completely and professionally. Thanks again Tom Kelly

Thank you so much, this answers my questions. I made my appointments for next week with the OB/GYN and the laboratory. I will get the Calcium 500mg tablets too.
