Another type of power toothbrush is an ultrasonic toothbrush which works by generating ultrasonic waves. It is also called sonic brush. It cleans teeth by making 30,000 to 50,000 strokes per minute.

  • Cleaning the back of one’s teeth can be difficult
  • Most people believe that power brushes are more effective than manual toothbrushes
  • People with health problems, such as arthritis, may find it difficult to use one

Whatever the type of toothbrush, it is better to brush twice a day, and with proper technique, to maintain oral hygiene.
