While you keep yourself busy with remembering your child’s school schedule, your husband’s tour dates and many more demands posed by the family, it is important to take out time and please yourself too. After all, there is no harm in being a little selfish. Or is there any? 

Well, keeping an eye on your health would only strengthen your will to take the best care of your loved ones. Here are some simple yet effective tips that would help you meet the “HEALTHIER YOU”.

Eat Well

Nutrition is important to keep you stay active and sharp. Add fresh fruits, vegetables, salads, whole grains and plenty of refreshing fluids to your diet. Protein is important too. Other nutrients of importance include iron, Vit. C, calcium, Vit E and Vit D.

Stay Active

Take stairs more often, walk to buy grocery, look for the farthest spot for a walk, play with your children and do not forget to take up muscle strengthening exercises. 

Indulge in recreational activities that relax your mind. Try a hand on long lost skills, like, painting, stitching, photography etc. Doing so would keep you engaged and at the same time relax the mind and bring peace with in you.

Get Tested

As the age progress the chances of developing deficiencies and age related illnesses increase. Getting yourself tested regularly would keep you much healthier and tension free.

As a women it is important for you  to do things that make you happy and are not aimed at pleasing others. Stay healthy and engage in hobbies you always wanted to chase.  This will increase your sense of Self Worth and bring about a positive transformation in everything you touch.
