Vitamin D supplements...
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Vitamin D value of 10 ng/ml indicates vitamin D deficiency. It should be supplemented with adequate amount of vitamin supplement. I suggest 60000 IU of vitamin D capsule (D rise capsule) once a week for 8 weeks to my patients with similar deficiency. You can discuss about this with your treating doctor.
I would like to know the specific cholesterol levels. Usually marginal disturbances can be rectified with life style and dietary changes. You should however discuss with your treating doctor to know if there are any other cardiovascular risks, then it should be treated with medications. Discuss with your treating doctor.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you need clarifications.
Regards
