Question : Hi, I have a 5 year 7 month old daughter that just took one benedril pill. How dangerious is this? Package dosage suggests children 6 and older can take one pill.
Hi,
You have not given the wight of our child.
If she weighs above 55 pounds ,then one tablet of 25 mg is OK.
(Or 2 chewable tab of 12.5 mgs)
By the way did she take chewable tab which is 12.5 mg or regular tab which is 25 mg?
Don't worry.
She may feel little drowsy and sleep more than usual.
The other side effect of benadryl is dryness of mouth.
Just watch her if she is generally well.
She should be OK
God bless
Take care
