Brief Answer:
autoimmune thyroiditis
Detailed Answer:
Dear sir, welcome to ASK A DOCTOR.
antibody positive implies autoimmune nature of the disease, ie , the etiology or the cause of the disease. what we do is to treat thyroid dysfunction and maintain normal thyroid balance. we do not treat antibodies per se. if inspite of normal thyroid balance, and all nutritional supplements , patient is still facing symptoms, then we may think of targeting antibodies as per the latest studies. so in your case, we need to know your thyroid profile, your dose, and your symptoms. then we can surely help you.
regards!
