Question : 8 year child with repeat urine infections. All different bacteria showing. Weekly infections.
No symptoms whatsoever only diagnosed as we test weekly.
Last infection didn’t shoe nitrates or leukocytes just a small trace of blood however doctor said it was a bad infection.
Original scan had a distended bladder however second scan normal.
Kidneys all look fine and no other problems on scan.
Bloods originally showered higher then normal creatine but since showing normal.
Only thing on bloods is white cells and infection markers.
Any idea what could be causing long term infections? And how it can be diagnosed and treated long term.
She’s been really healthy other then being 7 weeks premature and spending 4 weeks in NICU, practises good hygiene.she drinks a lot too.
Only thing she has is nose bleeds and a lot of them.

Risk factors of uti
Detailed Answer:
I understand your concern.
The risk factors of urinary tract infection here are female gender, holding back urine.
Apart from this we need to work out if there is any vesico ureteric reflux.
This can be ascertained by micturating cystourethrogram or by an experienced ultrasonologist.
