Question : A friend of mine has had random bruises pop up on her legs and these are nasty looking bruises and their huge. She is scared to go to a Dr due to what they will tell her but I am really scared for her and with me not being able to get her to go I figured I would ask a dr online and depending on what y’all say I may be able to convince her to go

There are many causes of such bruises and we need to find out the cause.

It could be due to reduced platelets, bleeding, or a coagulation disorder, due to connective tissue disease, antiphospholipid syndrome, and blood thinners.

She needs to go to laboratory tests to exclude the causes of bruises.
