Question : after my whipple surgery how long can l have sex with my wife? Can l also use my Viagra during this time if it is safe to have sex? What are some of the side effects of this procedure. It is about 6 weeks ago l had this procedure to remove cancer on my gall bladder. Is sex arousal one of the side effects? I have been experiencing sex arousal of late. Is this normal? Please help me out

Hi,

Thanks for writing to HCM.

As is 6 weeks now, so you can have sex, but see to that there is no pressure over your abdomen, so avoid women on top position.

This surgery has no relation to your incresed sex arousal. And you can saftely use viagra.

Regarding the side effects of the procedure there are quiet a few like fat indigestion, gaseous distension of stomach, foul smelling stools, incision site hernia and anastomosis leak.

Avoid lifting heavy weigh for 6 more weeks to prevent hernia, and avoid fatty foods.
