Question: 60 y.o male all blood values normal except HDl 36 trig 214 LDL 70
ratio 4.4 Taking pravachol 40 mg Had 3 stents 4 years ago exercise 5 x/week
weigh 174 BMI 23 MD says HDL/Trig is Syndrome X Any way to improve values
of HDL and Trig Good health otherwise

Low HDL and moderately high are definitely a risk factor for coronary artery disease.
I would want to know certain informations from you before proceeding ahead.
Are you suffering from diabetes?
Do you smoke?
What are the medications being taken by you?
If consuming alcohol then how much is the quantity?
