Are Duphaston And Apcod The Right Medicines For Infertility Problem?

I have been trying to conceive for an year with no luck. My periods have always been regular since 30 yrs. I used to have premenstrual spotting, the doctor advised duphastan and apcod. I have been using duphastan and apcod sachets. The premenstrual spotting seems to have got corrected, didn't see it in the last 4 cycles.my last period started on August 29th. Last month, I took duphastan from 20-26th day. I haven't got my period yet. Yesterday I tried two preg kits- one in the morning and one in the evening. Both showed negative. My periods are usually very regular - 30 days cycle.
Two negatives brings down hopes and I am worried that I may have some other serious problem. Can you suggest and give your opinion if I can be pregnant even with the negative tests?
Yes! You can be pregnant.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing to us again.
Duphastan and Apcod both are helpful in treatment of irregular period and help to conceive fast.
In your instance as your expected period date is 30 September (30 day cycle) and you had a home urine pregnancy test on 1st (only 2 days overdue) there is a possibility of false negative test result.
Normally a home urine pregnancy test should be done after 7 days of missed period with morning urine sample for best results.
In urine pregnancy test we see the positive outcome due to HCG present in pregnant woman's urine, if the level is low then there a possibility of false negative results.
Thus in my opinion you should repeat your urine pregnancy test after 5days.
Please revert back to me with your urine test results.
Good luck.

In your case it is normal.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Sorry for the delay in my response.
The menstruation is considered normal when it occurs in 21-35 days, as in your case it is delayed by only 2-3 days it is considered normal.
I know your period come on time (every thirty days) but there are so many reasons for delayed menses. The most usual cause is due to stress.
Hormonal pills can also alter the menstrual cycle.
So please do not worry about it.
Better luck next time I guess.
Hope it is useful, feel free to discuss more.
Good luck.
