Question : I am in my early stage of pregnancy..doctor has advised ecosprin 150 and sustin 200 injections.. .i am quite worried as why she has prescribed all these as all was well at the time of my 1st baby..my BP got shoot up in 8th month last days and the baby is premature..

please suggest..

Ecosprin improves blood circulation in placenta and is used in prevention of high blood pressure as last time. Please continue it.

Susten 200 mg injections are not required daily. It is given to support pregnancy and prevent preterm delivery. You can use vaginal pessaries instead of injections if you wish.

thanks a lot for replying...injections are not daily based..twice a week...wed and sat..but they are very painful

In that case you can continue injections. You can also request your doctor to prescribe Aquagest 25 mg instead of susten. This is equally efficacious but less painful that susten injection.

I have to ask one more thing...i am having white discharge and there is always a feeling of getting down/periods...is this normal?
