Are LFT Values Abnormal Because I Am Breastfeeding?

default
Posted on Mon, 16 Oct 2023
Question: I am 33yrs. 8months old. I have 2 kids... 6.5yrs. old & 2.5months old. I delivered my 2nd child in July & my both deliveries were C-Section. Currently I'm breastfeeding my newborn child.
Recently I got done my routine blood test in which I found LFT values to be abnormal. I never had such problem earlier. Is it due to pregnancy or breastfeeding ?
I'm attaching my LFT report. Kindly suggest the needful.

Brief Answer:
As explained below.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have gone through the report. Liver enzymes generally rise in pregnancy due to weight gain and fat deposits in the liver also known as fatty liver. It will generally come down once your pregnancy weight reduces. I suggest you not to worry. Eat only fresh fruits and vegetables and drink plenty of water. You can repeat the test after 6 months.

I hope this answered your query.
