But I see you suggest not to take HCQ, We will avoid it. Any alternative for HCQ. Even if she takes HCQ is there any time limit after which she can feed the baby. Another medicine Wysolone 5MG- is it recommended during breast feeding. She delivered Baby girl on XXXXXXX 23. She has rheumatoid arthritis. Any other suggestions or medication.
Kindly suggest.

                                    Brief Answer:
You have to meet your rheumatologist
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
As a pediatrician I can tell you which medications are safe during breastfeeding but for treatment of rheumatoid arthritis and substitute of hcq you have to consult your rheumatologist.
I feel that rheumatoid arthritis is a big disease and just stopping hcq will not help. You must get a substitute medicine for that.
Take care.
