Question : Due todehydration, a week agoI hadea severe case of thedryheaves. Ihave noticed pressure very high up in the area of my diaphram, especially after eating. This along with a kind of tingling feeling. Could this be a hernia?

i read your question and i understand your concern. Heaving or retching with acid reflux is common and worsened by dehydration so yes your doctor has a point. As far as hernia as a cause is concerned, Diaphragmatic hernia if the cause , then is mostly congenital since childhood and very severe. I dont think it is the case in your illness. All you need is slight diet and lifestyle modifications, some antacids, plenty of fluids to keep hydrated, losing weight,eating small frequent meals, delaying lying down after the meals etc will help.
