Question : Hi doctor, my sis had a baby last year in August and she's completely breastfeeding she didn't get her periods since she got the baby and recently got her periods, her periods ended today. She's not planning on another child anytime soon hence wants to take a birth control pill? Which is the most suitable for her if she's breastfeeding? Is microgynon ok?

She must be the apple of your eye and may God bless her always.
Yes now after 6 months of delivery she can have microgynon for birth control and take it daily without a miss.
She should also start other baby foods along with breast milk so as to fulfil the increased nutritional requirements of baby at this stage.
