63 years old, multiple health issues. Have 14 stents in my heart.
235 lbs 6'1 I have been working out on a sta. bike and weights.
when I'm on the bike I start getting mild chest pain. I feel like I'm
bloated and if I can burp some air it will lessen the chest pain.
I trying to sort out if this is a reaction from my heart or if I'm really
holding in oxygen and this is where my issue stems from??
Thank you, XXXXXXX .... Is it possible I'm trapping air in my chest from some digestive issue?
I've tried not eating for at least several hours before i work out. Doesn't seem to matter....
This is clearly related to the heart!
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.
I am so sorry to hear about this pain that you have reported. I have reviewed these symptoms fully and this is very much suggestive of a possible heart origin. Pain that starts with exercise and lessens when the exercise is slowed down is clearly suggestive of a heart related pain. This is further supported by the fact that you have 14 stents in the heart which means there are real issues with blood flow. For now, I will suggest that you get re-evaluation by your cardiologist. Medications might be able to control this. Also, you may want to slow down of very intense activities so as to control this as well.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be. Above all, thanks for using our services.
