Brief Answer:
Following answer to your query.

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you for asking!
I read your query and understood your concerns.

First of all the discomfort should be evaluated in order to exclude cardiac problems. Coronary artery blockage and chest pain is a common problem in diabetic patients.

Secondly the discomfort may be related to gastrointestinal disorders (especially GERD or gastritis).

If your pain become more intense or the things seems to get worse you should go to ER. Otherwise you should do the following examinations to find out what is causing the pain:
- ecg
- cardiac echo
- stress test
- chest x ray
- abdominal ultrasound
- upper endoscopy

Hope this will be of help!
Wish you health!
