Question : Immauture Granulocytes came back on blood work elevated. Absolute was 0.4, the other one was 0.5 -- not sick, haven't been sick, no infections. Is this cause for concern.
Brief Answer:
Early stage response to infection
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
The appearance of immature granulocytes in the peripheral blood elevated indicates an early stage response to infection, inflammation or other stimuli of the bone marrow.
As your absolute was 0.4 and other one 0.5 it is not much high and is not a concern.
Would advise you to do a blood culture sensitivity test.
If any infection found in blood them sensitive antibiotics needs to be given
