Brief Answer:
would normally be associated with cough/cold symptoms

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

IN THE EARLY STAGE, MAY HAVE ONLY FATIGUE, DECREASED APPETITE, UNWELL SENSATION AND FEVER, BUT WITH THE FLU, OTHER SYMPTOMS WOULD OCCUR AFTER A FEW DAYS- COUGH/COLD SYMPTOMS, JOINT PAIN ETC

The flu is associated with cold symptoms that are usually more severe.

The cold may cause loss of appetite, runny nose, sneezing, congestion, sore throat, malaise, cough, slight fever

The flu would normally have these symptoms, only worse. There would be muscle and joint pain, cough tends to be worse (more persistent , may be wet)

In some cases where the cold or flu is developing, only fatigue and feeling generally unwell may be present initially and the other symptoms develop within a few days

Some persons may also only have these symptoms (fatigue, fever, unwell, loss of appetite) , due to a viral illness, but the exact virus that is present is not clear and the treatment is symptomatic- treat whatever symptoms are present, not specific illness

Fever can be associated with chills (feeling as though cold), this is due to the body trying to 'reset' a temperature.
Most persons with chills try to warm up , this is the natural response but because the chills occur as a result of fever, the best response is to cool down-- take paracetamol or ibuprofen, wear as little as comfortable, do not cover up too much, cool liquids.

You can monitor your symptoms to see if flu symptoms develop

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
