Are Fever, Sore Throat And Phlegm In Throat In A Child Symptoms Of Diphtheria?

Question: What are the chances of a child getting diptheria if they've had 2 DTaP shots? My one year old son has been sick for 4 days with a fever, sore throat, and mucus in his throat. His nose hasnt been runny and he hasnt been stuffy, everything is draining into his throat. Today clear mucus has started coming out of his mouth nonstop. He has had 2 DTaP shots, and was scheduled to get his 3rd this week so he'd be up to date. I know the risk of diptheria is low but I'm still concerned because he's not fully vaccinated.

Brief Answer:
Diphtheria

Detailed Answer:
Hello. I just read through your question.
I understand your concern. However, your baby most likely has a simple harmless viral illness. The two DTaP vaccines already received is enough to cknder immunity at this age.
