Question : I have a couple of flat red spots on my penis. They are painless and it does not hurt to urinate and no discharge. My girlfriend feels I gave her a yeast infection since having this. I have been taking canestan and it doesn't seem to help. Should I be concerned?
Brief Answer:
Wait and see with good hygiene measures
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking
I read your question and i understand your concern. Painless red spots not responding to anti fungals are likely benign and self resolving. Clogged sebaceous pores also called fordyce spots is the likely explanation. Just don't pop, poke or pick these. These self resolve in a week or two. Just maintain a good hygiene and avoid contact coitus if possible. Keep the groin hair and sweat free, preferably wear loose undergarments of cotton. Slight hygiene measures will help get rid of the illness.
I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and don't forget to close the discussion please.
