Are Following Medication Prescribed Post Cervical Cerclage Safe During Pregnancy?

Question: My wife has gone through cerclage as per doctor advise. She has been prescribed very high doses of medicine. Prisciption is attached, please help if in case it will have any side effects on my wife in having normal delivery.

Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand the concerns.
I have reviewed the discharge slip.
The medications are correctly prescribed with appropriate doses.
The medications are given to prevent infection after cerclage, to prevent premature uterine contractions and preterm labor and to avoid constipation.
These have no effects on the chances of normal vaginal delivery.
