Question : Hi.. my baby is 26 days old.. she hasnt passed motion in the last 2 days.. she is frequently urinating and passes gas.. what should i do for her motion to come?

Thanks for asking on this platform

I have gone through the query and do understand your concern.
Passage of stool once in 5-6 days or 7-8 times a day is normal in this age.
I won't get worried if baby is otherwise active, accepting feeds well, passing urine, stool is not very hard or mixed with blood and there is no abdominal fullness or frequent vomiting.
I would like to know what feed you are giving to the baby, I mean whether she is on breast feed or formula feed.
The reason behind this question is that, babies on formula feed pass stool less frequently and harder than who are on breast feed.
If she is on formula feed check whether the dilution is proper or not.
Also I would like to know whether thyroid screening in the baby has been done or not as low thyroid level may also cause infrequent stool.
In nutshell I would like to tell you that there is nothing to worry. Just watch for any significant abnormal symptoms and if you notice any please consult your pediatrician.

She is breastfeed .. her TSH level is around 3.96

So when will she pass motion then?? Would it come as normal or like constipation?

Most babies pass stool within 5-7 days and the consistency of stool is usually normal.
So you can wait and observe her for 3-4 more days.
