Question : Hi- my husband started taking Levofloxcin last Tuesday- prescribed by his ENT- for Nasal Sinusitis and polyps- he broke out in a itchy rash yesterday morn- i gave him Benadryl for the itch- but today its starting to ooze. We have a 11mo old in the house and are wondering if its contagious? if so how long will it last?

If he's off Levaquin, that's sufficient. if not, then you should advise him to talk to his doctor and consider switching.
