Question : I have all over pain and major fatigue...Not sure if it is arthritis or fibro...comes and goes
Brief Answer:
This will be determined by blood tests .
Detailed Answer:
Dear Madam,
Thank you for posting your query on HCM.
Well looking into your problem I would like to tell you that , both arthritis and Fibromyalgia can present with joint pains and fatigue but in arthritis there will be swelling of joints also . Plus the inflammatory markers like ESR, CRP will be raised in arthritis . There can be positivity of RF , Anti CCP antibody also . So by clinical examination and certain blood tests we can differentiate between the two . Also I would suggest to get metabolic profile done also , vitamin D, Vitamin B12 , CPK , TSH etc to rule out metabolic bone disease.
Take care.
