Question : Hello, I've had very achey muscles, headache, fever, nausea, fatigue, and mild dizziness for two days now. I thought it might be the flu but I don't have any respiratory symptoms (no cough, sore throat etc.). I have mild nasal congestion and a flemmey throat but those symptoms have been there for weeks without changing. Could this still be the flu? Something else? It seems to be getting worse and I'm unable to sleep at night except for approximately 30 minute increments.

"As"per your clinical history is concerned please follow like this -

1) Do a clinical examination by your primary care Doctor and to confirm do CBC with differential to confirm exact pathology.

2) Discuss with your Doctor about prescription medications like [paracetamol, levocetirizine and xylometazoline hydrochloride] for nasal congestion.

Do follow lifestyle modifications like this -

1)Try to wash your hands. Thorough and frequent hand-washing is an effective way to prevent many common infections.

Or use alcohol-based hand sanitizers if soap and water aren't readily available.

2) Try to cover your mouth and nose when you sneeze or cough.

To avoid contaminating your hands, cough or sneeze into a tissue.

3) Try to avoid crowds to reduce your chances of infection. And, if you're sick, stay home so that you don't infect others.
