Question: Hello,
I have been to the hospital twice this week for my nausea, fever, chills, etc.... They said it was ADult Viral Something, I have not been able to eat for almost 6 days now. I can drink and hold fluids down just fine. How long is this going to last because it is driving me crazy?

Brief Answer:

A few days usually.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

I have read the doctor's note but it's not that detailed to allow me to get a good idea of your condition. If the diagnosis of the viral infection in right then it's very likely that you 're going to start feeling better very soon.

Most viral infections last for a few days to one week although residual symptoms like fatigue etc may persist for more time.

I haven't seen any test reports. Were any tests done? If yes then please upload the reports. It would also be very helpful to know your body temperature variations during last week.

Hope I have answered your query.

Take care
