one more thing is previously i visited to one clinic"XXXX" mr XXXXXXX XXXX anesthesiologist doctor giving treatment of pain relief like ozon therapy, prolothearapy via injections.and during checking they told me that if u have A.S. ur joint must stiff within one year but u are this disease from 2-3yrs.so they think i have no spondelitis and facing pains due to only sacroilitis or facet arthropathy or fibromyalgia.no one cause determined.also they told me to test tb-gold.but why i not understand?

Brief Answer:
Follow your rheumatologist.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir,

Thank you for reverting back.

I will strongly advise you to follow rheumatologist in XXXXXXX , you are being treated rightly there . Prolotherapy and ozone therapy we never suggest any patient to take because these are all supportive things , they are not going to treat the disease . I would like to see the prescription of both these doctors . Send me that and then I will guide you further .

Dear Sir,

Thank you for reverting back.

Well I have seen your reports , they are fine , you can go ahead with the medicines your rheumatologist has prescribed . I would suggest you to avoid any alternative treatment .You will need to wait for at least 3 months to see for this response . TB gold quantiferon is a test done to look for latent TB , I will recommend it if your rheumatologist has prescribed it because when we give higher therapy for ankylosing spondylitis it is done to exclude TB . So you can get it done .

Also one thing more , if you smoke or take alcohol quit that immediately as it worsens the disease like anything .

If you have any query you can get back to me anytime .

Get well soon .

thank u
tb gold test is not prescribed by rheumatologist.when i gone to XXXX XXXXXXX (before going to rheumatologist)they prescribed tb gold test and doctor is anesthesiology doctor.i dont know why they prescribed this test.during follow of visit i told to rheumatologist about this prescription then they told me if i have joint tb it must have to see in mri reports.but in mri reports which is taken in march 2014 not seen tb.also i have not symptoms like night sweating and weight loss.so rhematologist doctor told me that i am facing only mild A.S. and not necessary to go for tb gold test.
also i am not taking alcohol or smoking also.only i using ipco paste (which content small % of tobacco )in morning as toothpaste.

Brief Answer:
Yes I agree with your rheumatologist.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir,

Thank you reverting back.

Yes I agree with your rheumatologist , there is no need for TB gold quantiferon test then . Bone TB will lead to destruction of joint and hence will be a progressive disease , your symptoms dont seem to be favouring that plus in MRI they havent reported anything so you better stick to what your rheumatologist is saying . Lets see how the response comes . Its nice if you dont have any addictions . You can use your tooth paste , no issues with that .

Also Swimming will be very good exercise for you , so try to do it at least 5 times a week .
